Welcome to the SECOND SEMESTER of the 2009-2010 school year! What a year it has been already and there are so many more exciting things that lie ahead of us.
Port Clinton Middle School is a great place because of the GREAT people inside it. Our teachers, support staff, aides, kitchen staff, secretaries and custodians all work together to ensure that each child has a GREAT educational experience. Every single person in our building is important – students and staff alike.
As we work our way through these cold, northcoast Ohio months, I encourage parents and students to do their best to make sure everyone arrives to school on time and safely. As the laws in Ohio change in the upcoming years, we will have fewer and fewer “Snow Days”…to the point where eventually we will have to make up every day that we miss! Therefore, it is imperative that we begin to learn to navigate snowy roads and sidewalks in safe and responsible ways.
2010 has begun wonderfully and it is truly EXCITING to be amongst the learning and achievement that PCMS exhibits every day. Parents, information will be coming soon about upcoming opportunities for you to join us during special days and events.
As our building says, our goals are: TO EDUCATE TO ACHIEVE TO INSPIRE and we aspire to that each and every day.
